The Ashes Scattered Over Sea And Land service is provided by the VT10 Company Ltd of East Lothian. The company has traded in aviation for 15 years and is involved in many aspects of the industry including the supply of aircrew and the management of airlines, as well as hangarage, maintenance and air displays.

The Starduster is flown by Captain Jim McTaggart, a pilot with over 12,000 flying hours and 35 years experience.

The patented* ash dispersal systems have been developed over a number of years and, unlike some other systems, ensure the precise ejection from the aircraft of 100% of the ash container's contents.
